More Good News on the Housing Front!

Yesterday I read quite a few encouraging articles.  One about Bernanke’s comments stating the recession “should end this year,” assuming the government is successful in its efforts to get the system to behave normally (i.e. easier lending).  Another was statistics on our housing market in the Phoenix area.  They are definitely showing improvements from last year.

The first thing I read this morning was an article entitled “U.S. housing starts surge, inflation slower.“  It states housing starts are UP 22.2% from January, making it the biggest increase in home starts since January of 1990, and the FIRST INCREASE since April of last year.  Home permits are also UP 3% making this the first increase in permits since April of last year.

I’m no Nostradamus (the 50% where he predicted correctly), but all this good news on the U.S. in general, improving statistics here in the Phoenix Metro market, and the fact that my whole team has been SLAMMED the past couple months with showings/people BUYING make me think very positively about what is unfolding before our eyes.

After all, positive information leads to good news/positive results, in turn creating positive feelings and CONFIDENCE in consumers (you).
