Feds to Help Buyers Purchase Foreclosures

As part of Arizona’s Neighborhood Stabilization Plan, money is being made available to buyers who want  to buy foreclosure property. According to Catherine Reagor of  The Arizona Republic up to $15,000.00 is being offered to eligible buyers for down payments and closing costs!  This will go a long way to getting rid of the foreclosure properties. I see it as a great incentive for 1st time buyers to get into home ownership. Coupled with the $8,000 tax credit and incredibly low interest rates, there is no better time to buy that first home. Foreclosure properties must go away for the economy to start on the road to recovery. We are seeing that beginning to happen now. This program will help the process and get a lot of buyers off the fence. Just what we need!
