Phoenix Desert Botanical Garden is a must see

The Phoenix Desert Botanical Gardens are in the same complex with the Phoenix Zoo.  The gardens have housed the ChihulyArt Exhibit over the past few months and was an important show in art as well as the glass art itself complimenting the gardens. 

The gardens are very beautiful and feature many exciting exhibits.  The butterfly exhibit is my favorite and is so much fun to go and see the hundreds of butterflies in this tented area that you can go in and stand among these gorgeous creatures who are flying all around. There are historic exhibits that show us all about the history of the Phoenix/Scottsdale area.  Then there are all the wildflowers that grow in our area clustered there for show.  Around each corner of the many paths one can walk on has a surprise of some plant,flower, cactus or tree to see.

There is also another surprise during the holiday season in December when the Desert Botanical Gardens presents Las Noches de las Luminaries.  Another “not to miss” event for Phoenix/Scottsdale . Also in the winter, there are concerts at the gardens.

  The beauty of the desert is maximized here at the Botanical Gardens and is something I always recommend to my Buyers moving into the Phoenix/Scottsdale communities to go see.
