Some Good News From the Housing Market

According to Arizona News Channel 3, home values are continuing to rise across the US and there is indication that the housing market is stabilizing a bit.  The S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Index of 20 major cities across the US rose by 1.2% in July as compared to June. However prices are still more than 13% less than July 2008.  Phoenix did some better than the national averages as our home prices rose around 1.8% from June but are still down over 28% from this time last year.

It is still a great time to buy in the Phoenix areas.  Homes continue to be affordable across the valley. And yes, if you act quickly, there is still time to qualify for the $8000 tax credit.
