First American to open new call center in Phoenix

First American has picked Phoenix to open a new call center for their Home Buyers Protection Plan.  The company is a division of Santa Ana, California based First American Financial Services.  They plan on hiring a total of 400 employees over the next two years and interested applicants may check new openings at www.firstam.com/careers.

According to Phoenix Business Journal, “While this is the first call center operation for First American Home Buyers Protection in the Valley, First American has had a long relationship in the community with their title operations,” said Andy Hand, vice president of strategic projects for First American Professional Real Estate Services, another division of the real estate conglomerate.  The company picked Phoenix for the new call center because of the area’s skilled work force, proximity to the company’s California headquarters and the variety of leasing options.”
