Should We Move to Arizona?
Have you ever considered a move to the Great State of Arizona – I did, and I’ve never regretted it. Let me tell you a little about it: stretching 400 miles from top to bottom, and 310 miles across, Arizona is the nation’s sixth largest state. And the climate, oh my goodness, take your pick! Did you hear that pleasant weather is one of the prime reasons people move here. Even in the “cold” regions of our state, the sun shines brightly day after day. And wherever you are in Arizona, it’s only a short drive to a change of scene. (On occasion, both the nation’s high and low temperature readings are registered in Arizona on the same day!)
While still reminiscent of the Wild West in some parts, Arizona is a state with major urban centers, Phoenix being the nation’s sixth largest city. The State has been growing by leaps and bounds since the early 1950’s. Warm weather, beautiful scenery, and a prospering economy contribute to Arizona’s reputation as a growth hot-spot. People seeking sunshine, warm air and employment opportunities choose the state’s southern areas, where 85% of the population resides. They come with hopes of never, ever needing a snow blower, ice scraper or rock salt again! SO YOU ALL COME, Y’HEAR?
