How would you like to tour the beautiful Colorado River on a boat? My family and I did just that on the USS Riverside located at the Riverside Hotel & Casino Resort in Laughlin, Nevada; which is directly across Bullhead City, Arizona.

What a relaxing, informative and friendly cruise. In approximately 1 hour 20 minutes you’ll run up the river under the Laughlin Bridge past Camp Davis to the Lake Mohave Dam, then down the river to see the river-lined row of casinos.

The boat crew was so hospitable and our tour wasn’t overcrowded. Captain Bob and Crewman Mike was so friendly, they MADE our experience the best! My 11 year old daughter, Riley, was asked to steer the ship for a bit; a definite highlight! She even received a “Co-Pilot Certificate”. What kid wouldn’t want to steer a large vessel!

Pick your view from an outdoor upper and lower deck or limited seating in the climate-controlled, lower deck. At first we chose the upper deck where there was a gentle breeze blowing. We were able to sit back and relax watching the boaters and jet skiers race by. We also enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the informative narrative that played along our cruise.
