There is no shortage of place to grab a bite to eat . A few places you can enjoy are Southwest Moes, Margaritaville, Johnny Rockets, Ocean Blue, Mama Gina’s Pizza, and so much more. You name it, its pretty much there. Plenty of shopping and entertainment too!  From AMC movies to Shout House (dueling pianos, my personal favorite) to Coyotes hockey.

It’s a fun environment for all ages with lots of free parking.  Be sure to take your winter visitors there.

Prior to 1970 the area was a cattle ranch and was part of one of the largest land and cattle holdings in Arizona. Fountain Hills AZ lies just to the east of Scottsdale.

Fountain Hills has incredible views and a natural desert terrain that provides for a wide range of outdoor activities including hiking, biking, boating and golf.  Fountain Hills also has some of the more challenging and picturesque golf courses in all of Arizona.

The centerpiece of Fountain Hills is the fountain; one of the world’s tallest and is man-made. It serves as a focal point for the community and attracts thousands of visitors each year. On Feb 17-19 2012 Firebird International Raceway presents the NHRA Arizona Nationals.  Bring your earplugs and get ready for some action as some of the best teams in drag racing battle for a win in the early season.
