About Paradise Valley
Paradise Valley is a small suburb located in the middle of Phoenix and Scottsdale. Like Scottsdale, Paradise Valley has an affluent reputation, and though its population is only a little over 15,200, it is home to 12 luxury resorts, and is known as one of Arizona’s premier tourist destinations. Locals consider Paradise Valley to be the extension of Scottsdale.
Known sometimes as “the Beverly Hills of the Phoenix Metro area”, Paradise Valley was named 12th of 25 top earning towns by CNNMoney.com. Grand custom built upscale homes are the norm in this city, with the median home prices averaging over a million dollars and the current priciest home almost 16 million (the lowest priced home? A fixer in the mid $400k’s, though condos are available for much less.). The school district is considered to be one of the best in the city; something to remember is that though there is a Paradise Valley Unified School District, it mostly operates in Phoenix, and PV residents actually go to schools in the Scottsdale Unified School District.
An attraction in Paradise Valley that is not to be missed is the Cosanti Foundation. Famous Paolo Soleri wind bells can be found here, a perfect gift for any occasion. This historic site blends desert landscaping with earth-formed concrete architectural structures. Visitors are welcome to view the bronze casting process on weekday mornings.
