About Scottsdale
Scottsdale Arizona is one of Phoenix’s major suburbs and is located adjacent to Phoenix, to the east. Known as one of the area’s most affluent communities, Scottsdale has beautiful mountain views and great scenery, and residents are for the most part active and health conscious. North Scottsdale is where real estate worth more than a million (in some cases, much more) rest, and residents tend to be families or retirees, creating a more suburban feeling than South Scottsdale. North Scottsdale is one of Scottsdale’s newest areas, and it shows in the buildings and homes. South Scottsdale is more modest, however is great for younger singles because of the nightlife. Living in the southern area also provides great access to Tempe and Phoenix, and real estate is more affordable.
Visiting Scottsdale
Be sure to visit our main shopping districts, Old Town Scottsdale (with a new waterfront, fountains and waterfalls), where there is a guilty abundance of cafes, restaurants and boutiques. For our shoppers out there, this area is pure paradise. Scottsdale also has an extremely vibrant arts scene, as it is considered to be one of the hubs of art and entertainment in the Phoenix area. Scottsdale Fashion Square is just around the corner, where there is premier shopping, dining and entertainment as well; it’s actually considered to be the largest shopping destination in the Southwest!

Scottsdale Golf Courses With over 50 golf courses just in the city, Scottsdale is no doubt a destination for golf lovers. Troon North and TPC Stadium Course are two of the most prestigious courses and are usually most expensive. The Greyhawk is a little easier on the wallet but is also a great course to visit. For views of the deserts and a different feeling in general, play a round on one of the courses on an Indian reservation. Recieve golf property listings by email as they come on the market.

Outdoor Activities
Of course, there are other activities than golf in the recreation department. Spring time is baseball’s training season, and visitors are welcome to watch. The stadium is actually in Peoria, but hey, if you’re in the vicinity…why not? For those of us who are joggers, walkers, skatersand bicyclists, there is a great trail called Indian Bend Wash Greenbelt, a 7.5-mile path which connects many parks. Depending on which park you choose, recreational facilities such as lakes, pools, and golf courses can be found for that leisurely day out for the family.
Scottsdale’s number one attraction to date? The McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park. The park which sits on 30 acres has been newly renovated recently and has undergone some significant changes. The park is great for our rail road enthusiasts and especially for children; another great family outing.
