West Phoenix, known mostly for its diversity and multicultural influences, is a transitioning area. Residents are attracted to the affordable housing prices and the easy access to Downtown. West Phoenix is made up of three Villages: Laveen Village, Estrella Village and Maryvale Village.

 

Laveen Village

Laveen Village, which started as an agricultural settlement, is located in between Estrella and Maryvale and is known for the expansive mountain views residents enjoy. Though there are still major agricultural influences, Laveen is seeing quite a few new construction developments, and is sought by people who are after the small-town atmosphere.

 

Estrella Village

Estrella Village has vast areas of undeveloped land, and the neighborhoods are made up of older, single family residences. Industrial activities take place here.

 

Maryvale Village

Maryvale Village is also a diverse area of affordable new construction homes mixed with older era neighborhoods. The Cricket Pavilion, the area’s largest outdoor entertainment facility, brings in audiences from all over the area when events take place.
